The Great Australian Cross-Country Challenge is all about getting active and having a good time with your friends. However, if you are missing that competitive feeling and think your school has some handy runners or a massive community, then why not challenge for the crown of Australia’s Fastest Cross-Country School (The Australian School Cup) or perhaps Australia’s Most Active School!

The Australian Schools Cup tests how you are placed against that one rival school or you can see how your school compares across the whole of your state or even Australia.
Round up your school mates, teachers and ensure you have three boys & girls in each of the age groups below.
Points are awarded from the place you finish in each division. I.e first in the Year 2 is awarded one point and 25th is awarded 25 points.
The winning school is the one that scores the least number of points across the 10 divisions combined.
Point Score Age groups
- Primary – Kindy, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6,
- Secondary – Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11, Year 12,
Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the first three schools in your state and across Australia. All schools will be provided with a certificate of where they placed.

Calling out the Most Active Schools in Australia! Gather up your friends, family and school community, and encourage them to enter! The School with the most participants per capita will be crowned the winners! Last date to submit results is on 2nd of August at 5pm wins!
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the schools that rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each state/ territory as well as nationally.
The school with the most participants will win amazing prizes and be crowned the GACCC Most Active School of 2020!

Registering your school can be done online in a matter of minutes. Once you’ve registered your school, GACCC will be in touch to provide information on how to get your students registered and moving. Please note; School Registrations must be performed by Teachers or Staff!
